Morrison's Gift pays Tribute to the Founders

‘Morrison’s Gift’ is made from grapes planted by founders,  Liz and Barry Morrison and pays tribute to their hard work and dedication.

The Hay Shed Hill vineyard was established in the heart of Wilyabrup during the first phase of plantings in Margaret River in the late 60’s and early 70’s along with the iconic names of the region. In common with the surrounding pioneer vineyards the plantings were very much inspired by the wisdom of the time that said that Margaret River would be best suited to the varieties of Bordeaux.

Liz and Barry Morrison, the founders of Hay Shed Hill devoted themselves to creating a classic Margaret River Cabernet blend planting all the major Bordeaux varieties; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

This inaugural 2014 ‘Morrison’s Gift’ is made from grapes planted by Liz and Barry on the Hay Shed Hill vineyard and pays tribute to their work and dedication in a wine that showcases these great varieties and demonstrates why they have long been key elements of great classical red wine.
