The Kerrigan + Berry wines are a collaborative effort by two Western Australia winemakers; Gavin Berry of West Cape Howe in the Great Southern region and Michael Kerrigan of Hay Shed Hill in Margaret River.

Putting regional rivalry aside we simply strive to make wines that we love to drink, wines that we believe represent the best that Western Australia produces. Wines made with the most fundamental objective of using the best vineyard resources and winemaking with no regard for the state of the wine market or any other commercial concern.

From old vine ‘dry grown’ Gin Gin clone Chardonnay vines in the heart of
Margaret River’s famed Wilyabrup sub-region this wine showcases why Margaret River is renowned for complex yet bright and refreshing Chardonnay.

Made in the most classical manner this wine will reward medium term cellaring.

COLOUR: Brilliant appearance, great clarity and the lightest of green hues.

NOSE: Mineral aromatics with background savoury flinty notes. The fruit is in the fresh white pear spectrum with perhaps some citric elements.

PALATE:  It is in its youth, a tightly structured, lean Chardonnay with more of the mineral and citric notes rather than traditional tropical fruits.  The wine will develop gradually and reward the serious Chardonnay drinker.
