Wine Companion 2017 - 5 Star Winery Rating
The 2017 edition of James Halliday's Wine Companion was released mid 2016 with the Hay Shed Hill, Kerrigan + Berry and Pitchfork ranges all scoring impressively high.
Both Hay Shed Hill and Kerrigan + Berry were awarded a Red Five Star Winery rating.
We had 19 wines rated 90 points and over, of which 16 were rated over 92 points. Eleven of these were awarded a special value rosette, indicating they offered exceptional value for money within their rating.
Some of the standouts were the Block 1 SSB 2015 rating equal top highest SSB blend in the book. Also the first release Kerrigan + Berry Shiraz 2014 impressed with it's 97 point score.
